Founded in 1993, Vista Academy Foundation is a parent-teacher organization that supports the school’s objectives to nurture the intellectual, artistic and social potential in every child.
The Foundation is comprised of parents, teachers, administrators, and community members with the common goal of providing financial support and volunteer coordination for existing and future educational opportunities. By providing support for special projects and productions at Vista Academy, Vista Academy Foundation enables educators to implement new and innovative ways of reaching, teaching and motivating students in an arts-based learning environment.

At Vista Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, students in grades K-5 participate in arts enrichment classes. Once a week, students attend drama, music, STEAM, dance and Spanish classes. Content from these specialty classes not only to provides students with the opportunity to learn more about those subjects, but also to establishes meaningful connections to content learned in their everyday classrooms.

The dance program at Vista Academy is rooted in the genres of ballet, modern and jazz. Along with teaching students technique, dance classes also connect to the core curriculum taught within each grade level. The paramount aim of the Vista Academy dance program is that students are instilled with a love of learning and dance!
